After reading the AFR article in the previous post on this thread, it's possible that BPT could be building a stake in AWE just in case it's dissatisfied with the leading bidder and feels compelled to enter the contest.

If so, with a valuation range of 78c to $1.06 and Mitsui already at 95c, how high would the next bid need to be to kill off a counter-bid?
