Usually with the intention of buying them back and returning them at a price lower than the burrow price AKA shorting. Or just a concerted effort to keep the SP low to then push through an uber low ball takeover move whilst working in unison with an accumulator who is staging the takeover.
The only good thing here i am afraid is the fact we can now confirm it is happening & or has happend.
