Agree with you sentiment regarding short term pain.
I took a quick look at Alan Gray. This holding is part of a 1.5bill fund so they're no small players. I would say their into them to the tune of approx. 50 mill. They seem to be aggressively averaging down. I'm not 100% sure what they held prior the dreaded ann; however, I'm assuming they contacted the company after that ann and had a lengthy discussion as to the integrity of their comment regarding a confident expectation of a better result in FY19.
He's the caveat, AGI has used the word expectation yet again. Can they be trusted? Obviously Alan Gray thinks so. But they seem to be the only ones ATM.
