Listen mate in the 80's I lost over two million dollars of my own money not the banks I repaid them in full just under one million 1980's dollars and their lawyers , didn't go bankrupt like so many property investors at the time leaving their creditors in the lurch not just their lending banks/ lawyers plus people employed all their entitlement's down the drain . More than two million dollars in 1980's money was a hell of a lot of money to lose ( my own personal money ) thanks to the recession we had to have in the eighties early nineties . I wonder , I just wonder if you my friend how you would feel losing as much as I did thanks in my case the late eighties / early nineties stock market / industrial/commercial property market collapse we lost the most then by far housing market bad but nowhere near as bad Never recovered and been trading in shares ever since , never had any share trading success not my field biggest mistake getting involved with US brokers and lost a large sum of money on three US stocks . Don't appreciate being referred to as being weak , down on investing with confidence yes but definitely not weak just looking after what's left quite understandably I would have thought .
