Glencore have today sold about $14m worth of Aurelia Metals (AMI) shares (half their holding). I guess they think the price is high enough. Are Glencore gathering funds together to part fund the recent half billion iron ore purchase in South America? The AMI thread has one reply saying 'Go Glencore and never come back' or words to that effect. Popular bunch this Glencore.
This sale would take the AMI SP down a bit wouldn't it?
Why would Glencore sell half it holding? Profit taking? Perhaps nothing for IBG..........just curious. Any pieces to put together? AMI are gold lead and zinc from memory.
