Now now... I am not making any excuses for them. It has been misstep after misstep and I agree, they did need ASTA at the time and didn't have a choice. They still need something, because without the deep pockets (and ongoing support) of the new investors TNT is still a marginal business at best.
On your point around the business, TNT aren't really a pure cyber company either, selling networking connections with a Managed Firewall (with very old tech) is still their core business and revenue generator (with the low margins to boot).
