Oaktree itself is now majority owned by Canadian giant Brookfield, which is one of the largest alternatives managers in the world.

I think you will see Oaktree take control by forcing the Company into administration and the fund management contracts being taken over either by Oaktree themselves or more likely the various arms of Brookfield.

That is however only my opinion, I may well be very wrong.
