Shorters would have to be extremely brave to be shorting at these levels. Major shareholders increasing their stakes means less ability for shorters to buy back their short sold stocks. It seems that all the bad news has been factored in, and any positives would be a catalyst for reratings. Only way shorters get out is if Nufarm performs a capital raise. I reckon Nufarm would rather sell its assets and reward its shareholders than capital raise and reward its shorters.
