Not commenting specifically on the rise over the past week or so, but I think the lower interest rates from the banks (highlighted by the two recent interest rate drops by the RBA) have made companies such as BRG a bit more attractive as they pay a small, but reliable, dividend, it is a well run company with low/no debt and are likely to provide a reasonable return over the medium/long term.
