Nice article. A bit outdated in terms of geopolitical context since it’s from 2014 but just goes to show how good OVL’s project looks.
    1. Confirms ionic clay projects are the most economically viable and most likely to become producers given the ease of recovery and extraction. And the OVL project IS IONIC CLAY.
    2. Confirms how rare these are outside China (have a look at some of the documents linked to in these threads and see how comparable this project looks so far to those Chinese REE producers geology and metallurgy)
    3. Contrasts genuine clay projects with hard rock with respect to grades, opex and capex (all higher with hard rock, but opex/capex cost far outweigh grades so economics are much worse with Hard rock).

So OVL looking good so far, but lets not get carried away until due diligence is completed.
Then hopefully they turn attention to metallurgy and enlarging the deposit. It should be cheap and quick to do and no drilling involved since its a clay project and readily accessible under just 10cm of topsoil!
