why would someone want to take them over? There are other ways they can monetize their customer base but their model is flawed. Overheads are too high on their return on advertising, hence the need to raise capital at the same level as their IPO two years ago. They should make it free for everyone, so offer their premium service for free. if HC can generate A$4m a year on Google ads, then these guys will remove barrier to entry. Amazon lost money for years as they kept re investing. The reason i know so much about all of this is because two of us built something like this without the need for an app. These guys have been going since 2012 with their flawed model and they became a darling after Angie Ellis tipped them. Go and read their IPO document and then look at where they are today.
