Apparently Reitzer did an interview with the Eureka Report and said they will put the network contract out for tender when their current contract with Optus ends in 2 years.

Part of the plan is to boost customer numbers by several hundred thousand customers to put them in a better negotiating position.

I guess they're doubling down on that winning strategy we can see on OzBargain. Good times for consumers!
