I have not put much money into HRL mainly because l don't really know how to properly analyse it... basically it is a beaten up stock attempting to turn itself around after losing a major part of its income stream. We will get some idea how that's working soon.

I only started buying last year so for me it hasn't been a bad stock. The only hint we have to suggest things are going well is the management has bought in recent months. I buy for the long term and hope to find early stage growth stocks... if HRL is growing and heading back to profitability then that's all l am wanting.
