I'm doing my head in trying to understand the share sale agreements and simultaneous derivative transaction between La Mancha and JP Morgan and Citigroup.
Assuming there are no underlying issues not yet reported that might explain the SP fall today, the La Mancha/Banks "arrangement" must be the reason. Who profits from getting the price down? And how?
Perhaps the "transaction supplement letter from LMGI to the Banks dated 20 November 2019 (the Transaction Supplement)" referred to in Annexure A in La Mancha's announcement dated 25 November 2019, but not provided, might assist in figuring out who profits by distorting the market.
Others here seem to have a better understanding of these types of derivatives, and any "layman" explanation will be much appreciated.
