Can't argue with any of that, but as you have alluded to and following on from that, I wouldn't be taking this as a cue for us mug punters to follow as it rests on (there's that word again) "hope" as much as anything else.

Fund managers are ultimately human too - they make mistakes, and then try and make up for them by doubling down on their bets or averaging down i.e. throwing good money after bad. I have seen it in other instances. We can all "hope" they are right, but you know what they say about "hope" as an investment strategy.

Caveat emptor (triply so in Alexium's case!).
