By my calculations, so probably wrong, meridian only need a piddling 15,143,689 shares to hit 20%.
Did they get there yesterday late?
No matter who owns FAR they have to stump up the cash required to the JV or they will lose the lot as default will ensue.
So regardless of who own's FAR or has control, they will either have to sell SNE or run with it.
I think some years ago FAR changed the rules and now require 90% of shares to be taken over, my understanding at least. Farjoy for a long time was that blocker.
I'd be surprised if FAR aren't well aware of who they are dealing with.
