If Cassini continues to typical Kambalda depths and Mincor's 120kms of basal contact continues to reveal previously unearthed deposits, things will really hot up. IMO, post 2025, Mincor would be looking to build a standalone concentrator. BHP would no doubt prefer further high grade grist for its mill. I am surprised BHP does not have a stake on Mincor's register. Not sure what becomes of Forrest - maybe he sells to BHP for a windfall! IMO, IGO will not even get close to the playpen.
Only 10 days of March left to release the DFS. I think everyone is mesmerised watching the drill bit turn waiting to see whether Mincor is sitting on a Tier 1-3 asset. Its also worth pondering the future New World value of nickel whether it be for food or medical hygiene (stainless steel) or electrification and associated battery storage.
Mincor, like Macquarie, will be a millionaire factory somewhere down the road...... DYOR
