I don't have access to TRS's management information system, so I'm not sure how to better inform myself on this, but I hear what you say and, ordinarily, it would make for a pertinent issue.
But when the number of stores is relatively constant, as it has been for the past 18 months, then surely comparable store sales will be approximately the same number, whether it is calculated using total store population or based just on stores that have been trading for at least a full year?
