It's certainly not his fault that the oil price has collapsed. But none the less he has to take full responsibility for letting LNG get to a point that it now has next to no money to survive.
His role is to make sure that this company remains in a position that it can remain operational. First and foremost.
If it means laying off staff and reducing overheads before things get serious then it must be done.
Whether you choose to acknowledge or not, but there was once upon a time hundreds of millions of dollars at his disposal . This has all but gone.
Those are simply the facts .You are entitled to your opinion but lets just call a spade a spade . If you believe that GV has steered LNG in the right direction since his appointment that is your right. I just don't think too many long term shareholders who are well aware of the current situation and what has been transpiring for quite some time would be agreeing with you.
