lol haven't been on HC for ages but I remember this guy has been a naysayer since RCE was in the teens... I hope he stays on this forum as it is entertaining to see how wrong he has been.

For illustration purpose, lets assume he's a normal dude on a normal kind of salary but wanted to angrily short this stock.

So perhaps he wanted to short sell $40k back at 15c, hoping for it to fall by 50% to 7.5c, picking up a cool $20,000 profit.

If he shorted $40,000 at 15c (assuming you could get stock borrow), as at today's close he would be sitting at a Loss of $208,000 marked to market from his initial position short position.

When you are that wrong (not saying he did short sell but I am putting his stance into perspective) at some point you need to reassess and look yourself in the mirror and admit fault. It's actually a destructive cognitive and persistent bias at play and is a root cause of tonnes of losses with investors and traders.

You see it with Telsa short sellers they blame the rest of the world, they think everyone else is at fault and they are the only one who can possibly be right and that venting of frustration somewhat offsets some their pain of getting rekt whenever the stock rockets.
