I share the concerns regarding the departure of Basham and I agree with @Victor24 that it's most likely that he has been headhunted for another role. This is his first CEO-gig and he's definitely proven himself - and I can imagine there would be plenty businesses looking to strip out costs in this COVID environment met.
Chris Fergus is an easier one to understand... He's really just interested in the services business (as demonstrated by the separate market updates that get released for Services) and I suspect he's got his eye on a sale to claim his slice of the pie. As a side-note the top two players in this space have just merged (https://www.g4s.com/investors/regulatory-announcements/2020/02/26/cash) and I would suspect buyers who took a look at the G4S business would now be looking at AVA. At least, if I was AVA's bankers (Canaccord) I'd be pitching to all the parties that missed out on G4S.
