On top of this there is quite a wide variation within the precision oncology sub-category as some targets are broad and/or to major cancers like lung or breast, while other are for ultra-orphan indications. There is a big difference in EV depending on what tumour type the company is chasing - 85% of the EV is from less than 15% of cancer types - the top 5 cancer types by EV are lung, breast, melanoma, multiple myeloma, and lymphoma.
With all of these cancers there is good evidence that FTO is an important driver of carcinogenesis.
