The spot price for Asian LNG has gone from $2 to over $11 for jan delivery which will see Santos returning to a pretty good negotiating position for future contracts and cash generation. Mark my words, if this keeps up for much longer, Santos are going to get some pretty cheap gas to increase their domestic quota and add to the capacity of their exports which have been running below capacity.
