I'm in the sector and very familiar with 3 of SCEE,S larger projects...2 of which have just started but are looking very shaky already.. another just concluded in the NT was a complete shocker...Recovery through claims is also getting more difficult as time goes by.. Its not their fault but over the past 5 or 10 years contractors like SCEE have been asked to take on more and more risk resulting in companies either going down or larger contractors like Downers pulling out all together.. Their recent acquisition of a lower risk business is a step in the right direction but be aware hard dollar contracting is the most lethal business you can imagine and getting worse by the minute and they are still exposed to it big time.. There may be some bad news in the future and it sounds like someone has already got wind of it.
