No set timeframe for such an announcement - more a case of not being seen to be acting on 'inside information' and actually not acting on 'inside information'- sometimes a respectable time period between buying and the announcement will help the cause to allay fears about being perceived as an insider.
No one can definitely say the three Hong Kong groups are acting together and sharing information here so I can't suggest that they are doing that as I certainly don't know what the situation is and as the submitted substantial shareholder forms do not group their shareholdings then they are saying they are not acting as a single block so I have to accept that.
