Sorry as you seem to mourn what appears to have been people who served a purpose, but were perhaps becoming dead weight and needed dropped to move forward.

The company is now poised for exponential growth in the coming months due to decisions by those in the know.

Perhaps they are aware of what they are doing and people should invest in them only if they trust they know what they are doing. If you don’t like or trust them you should definitely move on.
