I don’t think he lied, a lot happened in that week, ultimately RAC is no worse off, we’re no worse off. As an individual, I have the luxury to buy what I want (unless another GME happens) and hold it until it dies, and I’ve done exactly this with a stock that was in a great position, it crashed and burned and I made a database to track individuals involved, if that CEO shows up again, I’m out. A fund manager doesn’t have this luxury, if they hold and get burned by it, the people who have invested with them will be after them with gold plated pitch forks and they’re practically finished.
