Some people fail to recognise that the primary purpose of the stockmarket is to allow companies to raise capital, which in turn allows those investors opportunity to benefit from future earnings and company growth. In many cases, there are several iterations of this process, tied to progress and de-risking. Dilution of early investors is inherent to the process, however, this is countered by further capital adding value to the business through enabling tangible progress and growth. SIMPLE.
