At risk of overindulging on the analogy, it's worth keeping in mind those bananas are picked from a species of tree with a particularly staunch resistance known as educationalis.
Whilst it's true there's an abundance of bananas to be picked, the difficulty with which they break from the stem may require some patience if wishing to fill even an admittedly small basket.
