I imagine that he has buying since the announcement of the sale of the Aus business in ~Feb, but it seems he bought the bulk of the 30m shares on Fri & Mon when we saw ~22m shares traded.
Hard to know what insight he has (I recall he did a decent writeup some time ago on his newsletter about the Clark opportunity), but even he would not be in a position to know what cashflow situation the company is without the 4C reports (he is not a director nor does he have a board position, but with 16% he probably could ask for a board position now).
Either way, its a positive to see not everyone has written it off.....still could go to nil, but I'm sure he would have only topped up if he saw some upside opportunity worth the risk
