Problem islandmurray is that if you are a CHESS holder going through your broker as advised in the info you included may not work. In my case my broker (quite a large one) refused to have anything to do with it and would do nothing with it other than refer me back to to share registry. The second option for CHESS holders "complete the enclosed acceptance form..." is likely not to work either because there's not enough time for the paper work to go through. At this late stage best bet is to sell on the market.
