Seven Group chief executive Ryan Stokes has become the new chairman of Boral, replacing Kathryn Fagg who has stepped down after Seven Group raced to almost 70 per cent ownership of the company in a takeover offer which closed late on Thursday.The chief financial officer of Seven Group, Richard Richards, has also been appointed to the Boral board under the shake-up announced on Friday.Seven Group CEO Ryan Stokes will be the new chairman of Boral. Seven Group ended up with 69.6 per cent of the company in its takeover offer. Janie BarrettTwo existing directors of Boral, Peter Alexander and Deborah O’Toole, will step down from the Boral board after the annual general meeting on October 28.
