To be fair as well @Pigs.. I don't think the initial pitch was ever going to be towards 'Defence' - maybe in the long term... I think the initial interested parties will be mining companies, car manufacturing and the like... Sure, it'd be great to have big govvie contracts in the future but from my limited knowledge they usually sit on the fence for a bit and see how new tech plays out in the corporate world before dishing out taxpayers coin.
