Twiggy is shrewd and cunning and from a family of politicians
He has made billions of dollars from an industry that contributes around 5% of global carbon emissions and has only recently started pushing into hydrogen energy - as if he is enlightening the universe on the wonders of a previously unheard of energy source
It's great to see him looking to the future and realising iron ore and steel must reduce reliance on fossil fuels
It's great that he wants to improve aquaculture and meat farming practices
However he has a track record of talking up his values and ethics and visions and yet many times things unfold not quite as he planned or thought they might and he is all of a sudden silent and doesn't seem as concerned or involved as he was previously
He doesn't care much beyond maintaining his income and is yet to receive an honorary doctorate in Marketing but it can't be far away
Happy to be proven wrong on Twiggy and his HUO investment but I think he is holding out for higher offer price under the guise of giving a sh!t about the marine environment
Time will tell and meanwhile he looks to be expanding into further aquaculture enterprises in WA
