Just an investment firm but they do have WES shares in a lot of their funds. Wondering if they indicated they would vote no with their 8% in addition to WES 19% effectively kiling the SIgma deal as structured as they needed 75% shareholder approval. If so, expect a binding $1.55 offer from WES shortly. I still like the theory WES will eventually acquire both API & Sigma. Fastest way to be able to challenge the market share of EBOS, API needs investment in their Supply Chain which SIgma have already completed which is where a lot of syergy savings would come from. As both Sigma and API have attempted mergers in the last couple of years, its clear that the ACC is a reduced risk as the proposal wouldnt have gone ahead if lawyers didnt believe it was possible to be approved by the ACC. Can only ponder the possibilities.
