I don't know the criteria of the index but typically indices are based on market caps. Why did AMI get into the index when it was topping in 2019? Because it reached a certain market cap is my bet, nothing to do with the fundamentals of the company
I do agree that WAF is one of the best gold miners on the ASX, I'm in no way trying to say otherwise
