But further to your question, I want to highlight the fact that eplontersen uses conjugation to a GalNAc3 moiety.
GalNAc has been mentioned here a few times over the years.
It was specifically addressed in a company update almost three years ago (17 January 2019).
It was also discussed in this post in September last year – note that at the time I specifically asked Rohan Hockings about the potential benefits of CPP-LNP delivery of siRNA compared with GalNAc-mediated delivery. I’d suggest that his response is worthwhile rereading.
