Good Evening Mayo, A bit of a pullback after heading towards $5.00 ,( I thought.) Very confusing times IMO with the Fed calls of transterory inflation, interest rates staying low and now a path to a higher interest rate cycle which blew up in late 2018, so that's the elephant in the room at the moment, will they have a economy that can bear this change in the cycle ,which gets me to my point. Correct me ,but every lift in the interest rate by 1% ,equates to a 10% lift in profits.for IAG ,( so we buy in on the Fed raising ,things blow up , and IAG back in this low rate cycle.) and I can see that the correction in 2018 /19 brought the share price down from the high $8's to mid $6.00 , as this opportunity might be upon us again ( I'm seeing a deeper correction in 2022 when the Fed move again ( June ) ,so maybe a opportunity under $4.00 awaits us .This management is questionable going on the share price movements of QBE and Suncorp.. After all said Mayo , most times when one takes a position in quality stocks at their lows with tailwinds gathering , punters do well.
