I have been waiting for this moment for a long time - However IAG just continues to sink - apart from today.
For every 100 basis points rise in rates, the insurers are supposed to make an extra 10% profit.
hence you see all the insurers rise today, but dont tell me that the market didnt know that interest rate rises were coming, moreover, they have risen by 1.67%, almost from their 52 week lows, when the market knows another 50 basis points rise coming in July and perhaps August
My opinion, and like many other stocks, these stocks are either capped, to cover their short positions at lower prices
I dont know - i am kind of out of patience with this one
