I think they have been fairly open about being happy with CCV. Lack of broker reports/ market awareness is just bad luck for people who miss out.
As for the trading back and forth, as far as any potential manipulation in the ASX goes this would be verrrrry low on the list trust me. I own a few that are so obvious the only reason they havnt been pinged is because ASIC is understaffed and the ASX don't want to reduce trading volume by actually enforcing market rules.
