    The competitor product you linked is a soon-to-be-launching monitor only, not a recorder. It's actually more comparable to the Shinobi monitor which has been around for a few years: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1456145-REG/atomos_atomshbh01_shinobi_5_2_4k_hdmi.html

    The new Zato Connect has all the shinobi features plus H.264 SD Card recording, network access, streaming and USB connectivity, including USB Webcam at $399 (only $70 more than the competitor).

    They're on to a few winners with the new connect product launches in my opinion and it's simply a matter of time for the other product refreshes.
