I see this is symptomatic of the broader economic situation.

Supply chain constrictions encouraged them to load up on inventory, at the same time we are hit with high inflation and recessionary pressures (lowered demand), so they are likely stuck in an unfortunate position where they have to discount inventory to maintain cash flows.

This is the situation of many retail companies right now. It's not a reflection of the product, it's a supply/demand problem.

What would be good to know is what are their warehousing costs, how much inventory are they sitting on, what are their manufacturing overheads, and what have they already placed manufacturing orders for that needs to be paid for right now (cash flow).
