I didn't realise there had been a change of government in WA. I really must be living under a rock. I do check global markets from time to time. Apparently there is an energy crisis, inflationary outbreak and rising interest rates.
In all seriousness, the permitting of mines is a state legislative domain. In rare instances the fed can over rule if it can be deemed to in its jurisdiction such as the damming of the Franklin River which is World Heritage Area and was consequently subject to federal laws. So you would have to see what federal laws a potential development any possible at Julimar would be subject too.
