Actually, @Shoddles, Geoff Lord has outlaid more than $2.3m on BPP shares in three weeks. You're right, you have to admire the man's conviction.
I presume Geoff Lord played a role in the recruitment of James Cullen as chairman but I'm not sure. In any case, Lord's latest investment strategy can be seen as heartily endorsing the Cullen appointment.
Meanwhile, the fact that Lord has built his stake to 25% raises questions: Will he buy more? Will he use his stake to encourage a takeover play? Or block a takeover play?
Whatever, I think Geoff Lord is a man to watch...and to follow.
