Blackrock hold lots of stocks as a large index and ETF provider, they make stock available to lend to others, as well as a much smaller hedge fund business that borrows stock to go short. It also has active managed funds and it looks to me as though they have been net buyers in at least one of their active teams, so uranium69 is correct in this case (in my opinion). Maybe they see a value opportunity.
