the other perhaps most important point is there is now an individual who is connected to ccx that is wealthier, more powerful and with a far greater shareholding than the ceo and board members - the veil of the shareholding being non-controlling won’t prevent him being omnipresent and the main force they’ll need to ultimately report to ie passive power over what is a fairly weak leadership group that up until now didn’t appear, by way of final outcomes, to rate or respect shareholders interests as the most important stakeholder group in ccx
- no dividends for years, investment of most of the $132m 2020 capital raising in ‘non-seasonal’ inventory , sales by ceo of his own performance rights handed to him at nil cost for $6 a share, stalled international geographic expansion, Euroland acquisition which doesn’t appear to have gone anywhere, a global plus size market share of 0.2% (not a typo) and probably declining, getting kicked out of the ASX 300 and on it goes
