You’ve answered your own question: the Germans, our biggest shareholder, have no faith in management so keep selling their shares at a phenomenal loss.

As for SQM, they’re merely having a wild gamble (but close to a historic low share price) with incredible upside (if against all odds there’s a big discovery) whist retail shareholder were ignored again by the MD in this capital raising.

I really don’t believe the lithium drilling will yield anything commercial, as we learnt in their prior overhyped nickel drilling campaign.

It’s the old tried and tested formula that never seizes to impress, but results in failure.

My solution: fire the MD, hire a better one, and rename the company.
