Eitherway I invest in real estate, not gold or silver mines.

I see them and value them as real estate.

Gold, Silver are real, anything else is promissory note in a chain (currency; Latin word "currere," which means "to run" or "to flow." The word "money" comes from the Latin word "monere," which means "to warn.")

So if you have cash/ bank deposits you have notices that can flow and warn others of a promise only.

Shares are a share of a company, and whether you own a blue chip or spec stock, you are last to be paid in administration.

Also for anyone to entice another to buy a stock it requires;

1. Unconscionable conduct
2. Promissory estoppel

None of my comments and posts have elements of unconscionability nor make any promises of financial gain, to another persons detriment.

I spent 3 hours reading the fin print on an insurance policy on Friday afternoon.

This is what I do: comb through infromation and weigh the positives and negatives from my risk appetite and time frame for investment 25-50 years.
