The current product uses 4 chips, the 4th generation product will use only 1.
That has implications for design and form factors, the 4th generation will be smaller, longer battery life as there is only one chip set to be powered.
NUH future is not in making and selling HP Pro buds, their future is incorporating their tech into chips, OEMS, licensing etc.
On page 29 of the corporate presentation the 4th generation product has been built and demonstrated to certian clients at Jan CES and there is already a marketing effort between NUH/Realtek.
I anticipate we will hear something soon once deals are finalised.
