First Sentier Investors are quite vocal about the poor governance and lack of alignment at EML. They may well exit entirely.
From their Q4 report:
": the company addressed many of the weaknesses in remuneration in 2022 and has committed to not using discretion to override STI and LTI hurdles in the short term. We are extremely disappointed with the sign-on grant to the new CEO and have raised this with the company."
